Program Summary

There are five elements to each 12-week Soccer and Scouting program:

Jump Start consists of the following program elements:

Soccer and Scouting Practices and Games

The regular Soccer and Scouting Practice and Game schedule consists of the following:

  • 10 Midweek Practices
  • 10 Weekend Practices and Small-Sided Games

The schedule for each Midweek Practice and Weekend Practice and Small-Sided Game is as follows:

  • 0:00 - 0:05 — Scout Opening Ceremony
  • 0:05 - 0:30 — Soccer Skills Clinic
  • 0:30 - 0:55 — Scouting Program Activity
  • 0:55 - 1:00 — Rest Break
  • 1:00 - 1:30 — Small-Sided Soccer Game
  • 1:30 - 1:35 — Rest Break
  • 1:35 - 1:45 — Core Values Reflection and Closing Ceremony

Family Time

Family Time is a home-study program for Soccer and Scouting participants and their family members. Click here to view a sample of a Family Time Activity Poster.

Futbolito Tournament

Futbolito is a small-sided tournament held at the end of each 12-week season. Games are played as follows:

Tiger Cubs4 vs. 420 x 30 Yard Field
Wolf Cub Scouts5 vs. 525 x 35 Yard Field
Bear Cub Scouts6 vs. 630 x 40 Yard Field
Webelos Scouts7 vs. 740 x 50 Yard Field

Each team plays a minimum of three games. Games are officiated by qualified referees.

Graduation Ceremony

Each 12-week season ends with a thrilling Graduation Ceremony. This ceremony is held at the local Soccer and Scouting field or an MLS team stadium before an MLS game.

Each player receives a Player Evaluation, Goodie Bag, and Participation Trophy.
